Automation

The Automation feature available on monday.com allows you to create your own automations AKA recipes. 

Smart Templates can be tightly integrated with monday’s Automation. You can build new combinations from the recipes that will fit your team’s needs and the specific workflow you are using.

Note: there's a limitation when working with bulk actions that trigger automation. We recommend not to perform bulk actions to more than 200 items. If this number is exceeded, some of the automation will not be applied.

E.g. you have a rule to apply a template to every item that is moved to a board. If you move 500 items to the board, this triggers 500 automations to run and this exceeds platform capacity. The automation will run for ~200 items only. The solution is not to bulk move all the items at once, but do this in batches of 200 or less items.
