Actions with items/subitems in the Template

Here is a list of actions you can perform with items/subitems while editing a template:

Duplicate groups/items/subitems

Click on the 3-dots menu for the item/subitem > click Duplicate.

An item with the same name and added copy at the end will be added. It will contain the same columns with the same values.

Delete groups/items/subitems

Click on the 3-dots menu for the item/subitem > click Delete.

Add child item

Click on the 3-dots menu for the group/item > click Add child item.

A template must contain a group, an item, and a subitem to have the option to create child items. The templates that contain groups, items, and subitems allow you to create:

• An item as a child item under group
• A subitem as a child item under item

If in the template only has:

• Items - you can’t create child items
• Subitems - you can’t create child items
• Items with subitems - you can add a child subitem
• Groups with items - you can add child items
• Groups with items and subitems - you can add child items and subitems

Move groups, items, and subitems up and down in the hierarchy

Click on the 3-dots menu for the group/item > click:

• Move Up - it will move the item/subitem one level up
• Move Down -  it will move the item/subitem one level up

Rename groups/items/subitems

Click on items/subitem you want to rename. Do the changes in the Name column on the top.

When you do the changes you will see the updated name in the template structure on the left right away.
